Young Guns from Spirit claim first victory at PGL Antwerp
Imperial could not handle a superb playing Robert "Patsi" Isyanov.
It was the old guard against the young guns at PGL Antwerp Major. Imperial with multiple Major winners on the roster had their work cut out against Spirit, who arrived in Antwerp with five straight victories in the bag.
The CIS roster came out strong and took a 10-5 lead to the break. It was especially youngster Robert "Patsi" Isyanov who created problems for the experienced Brazilians. The 18-year-old rifler was relentless throughout the map, while AWP’er Abdulkhalik "degster" Gasanov provided all the necessary opening kills to give his team the upper hand time and time again.
In the end, it became a bit ugly for Imperial, who crashed down hard during the second half, where the Brazilians only won one round.
The game became another reminder of the total European dominance
