Former 9z coach joins Imperial
Zakk will be helping Imperial to reach its goal.
Rafael "zakk" Fernandes will join Imperial on a permanent deal. The former 9z coach has had excellent success with the South American team during minor events on home ground. zakk also helped his former team qualify for the IEM Rio Major and the Anterwerpen major 2022.
With Imperial looking towards new goals in the upcoming 2023 season Rafael "zakk" Fernandes is the coach who will be giving their trust to fulfill the hopes in the future. Imperial seeks towards recreating a strong and consistent roster that can secure Imperial trophies in the new season.
Imperial played well during the start of the 2022 season as the Brazilian team went to the legends stages during the Anterwepen major 2022. The Brazilian team peaked at number #14 on the HLTV world ranking list before jumping outside the top 30 which is the first time since may last year.
