Imperial fights off coldzera and 00NATION for Pro League spot

Imperial secured themselves a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 17 after they took down their rivals from 00NATION in a dominant 2-0 victory. The Brazilian team led by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo took an important win in their first game since the IEM Rio Major Challengers stage.

00NATION picked Nuke as the first map of the series but with only three rounds on the T side, 00NATION was under pressure from the very start. FalleN and co. played well as they managed to close out game one 16-3. Overpass was the second map of the series and with chelo and FalleN on fire, 00NATION had no chance as Imperial took the series and game two 16-10.

Former Major Winner FalleN can now look forward to playing against the world's best at ESL Pro League Season 17 which kicks off in late February.

00NATION is now forced to win over the Brazilian team Flamengo in a winner qualifies for ESL Pro League Season 17 match. The match will be played tonight at 22:30 (CET).
