Vitality batter Bad News Bears at ESL Pro League S14
The North American Bears showed a better performance against their EU opponents this time.
Vitality is now 2-0 at the fresh-started top tier tournament after they defeated Bad News Bears in a confident victory. The Frenchmen and their great CS from yesterday continued in Tuesday’s early match, where especially Richard ‘shox’ Papillon stepped up massively.
Dan 'apEX' Madesclaire and his troops began the matchup by stealing Bad News Bears’ map pick on Inferno, where the NA team did not manage to break through to Vitality throughout the map. The strong duo of ZywOo and shox posted two stellar ratings on 1.52 and 1.48 on the first map.
Bad News Bears came back on Overpass and showed great character by setting up a very solid CT-side, which resulted in a 9-6 score before the switch. However, Vitality proved too strong in the end. ZywOo and co. locked down the match through a 16-9 win.
