Astralis and Vitality played a rematch of the grand final at BLAST Premier Fall Finals, which the French-side won, although now it was to make it through to the IEM Global Challenge playoffs as both teams lost to the Germans from BIG in Group A. This time around the Danes were able to take revenge on the Frenchmen, securing a hard-fought series.
Despite Vitality’s loss to Astralis, ZywOo showed incredible individual skill and was on fire throughout the whole series, which made it a tough fight for the Danes. The impeccable performance by ZywOo resulted in him topping the series scoreboard with a 71-46 K/D, 95.2 ADR, and a rating of 1.42.
