Thorin: EliGE is one of the most routinely disrespected super-star players in CS:GO
Does the 'Esports Historian' have a point?
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski has for a long time been a flagbearer of North American Counter-Strike with the strong rifler being a long-standing member of Team Liquid, and arguably the best player in the region year after year.
Yet, he still seems to attract a vast amount of criticism from the community, especially during Liquid’s troublesome 2021 season last year where many pointed at EliGE as one of the main problems on the roster which also featured Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.
Duncan “Thorin” Shields, CS:GO expert and analyst, has a different perception of the 25-year-old North American saying he should be more respected.
EliGE is one of the most routinely disrespected super-star players I've ever seen in CS:GO. If he has a bad tournament people act like he's washed and hasn't consistently been far and away the best NA player for half a decade. The NiKo of NA.
If you need him to lift a major trophy to know EliGE is one of the best players in history then you have no eye test. Just look at his body of work. No rifle meta, buff/nerf or team-mate change ever stopped him.
