tabseN: All the other teams have much better players than us individual-wise
BIG lost their elimination match against FaZe and leaves the tournament without a victory.
After their loss to FaZe and exit from BLAST Premier Fall Finals in-game leader Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz commented on BIG's early exit from the tournament.
- It was underwhelming and really bad. I believe that we could have performed much better, but unfortunately it was not meant to be. So bad to the drawing board, and we will see, what we can do.
BIG is out of the tournament after two straight defeats. In the opening round, they got beaten by the current number one in the world, NAVI, who has overtaken the CS:GO throne after an impressive 2021. But it is not more than a year ago, that BIG spent several weeks as the best team in the world on the rankings. A spot that seems very far away right now.
- We all need to step up individually. I believe, that all of the other teams have much, much better players individual-wise. We will put everything in we can this year, and then we will see what happens.
Directly asked, if the experienced German in-game leader has confidence in the current lineup, tabseN answered.
- I usually do for sure. But right now we definitely need to step it up, so we can gain our confidence back. I always believe in my teammates, that is why they are my teammates.
