tabseN: I am the best German in-game leader
The BIG captain sees no other option right now than being the in-game leader for the team.
Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz is without a doubt one of the best German CS:GO players in history. But could he be even better, if he was not the in-game leader for BIG?
Analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche talked about the situation at BLAST Spring Groups after BIG went on to qualify for the Spring Finals. We asked the experienced BIG captain about the possibility of him stepping down as an in-game leader to utilize his individual skills more.
- In Germany, there is no better in-game leader better than me. If there would be one, I would probably consider doing that. But at the moment, there is no one who can replace me.
The 26-year-old German also gave insights into how the in-game leading is taking focus away from his individual game.
- It is a really hard task to manage to be able to call and be able to frag as well. In the beginning, it was very tough, and it is still very tough if your teammates are not on the same page as you, tabseN explained at a press conference before BIG starts their qualification towards IEM Katowice when they face Movistar Riders on Tuesday.
