Swedish Ninjas defeats Cloud9 after huge performance on Inferno
NIP is now 2-0 up in the group stage.
Day 1 of the Legends Stage ended with another great performance from Ninjas in Pyjamas. The team managed to edge out Cloud9 after a very close and entertaining match on Inferno.
NIP won both halves 8-7 to underline how equal the two teams were. And had it not been for several key rounds going in favor of NIP it could as well had been the other way around. Cloud9 actually made eleven more kills on the map, but in the end, they still came short losing 16-14 to the Swedes.
With the win, NIP is now 2-0 in the Swiss Group Stage, and will face an even harder opponent tomorrow, when they go up against NAVI for a spot in the playoffs. Cloud9 will also have a tough time tomorrow. The CIS roster is going up against the current number 1 team in the world, FaZe.
