Tournament structure:
The 16 teams are divided into two different brackets. There will be one qualifier for London in each bracket.
Upper bracket:

Heroic vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
Liquid vs SAW
Cloud9 vs Rare Atom
Lower bracket:
Spirit vs Elevate
GamerLegion vs BIG
Monte vs Imperial
Falcons vs Metizport
Teams to watch:
Falcons will be the talk of the town at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024. The Saudi-backed organization has loaned none other than Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev to fill up their roster after they benched Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas in the wake of the failed Major qualification. The match against the Swedes from Metizport will be Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev first competitive match in CS2 after he decided to withdraw from the NAVI roster in October 2023. During his break from Counter-Strike, the Ukrainian has talked openly about switching roles from the traditional AWP. We can’t wait to see, what the best player of the CS:GO era brings to the table in his first CS2 match!
It's tough not to mention Team Spirit when Danil "donk" Kryshkovets is on the roster. The Russian wonderkid finally showed that he was human after all at the European RMR tournament, but what level will he show at the BLAST Showdown event. In their first match they go up against the American team Elevate, which should be done quickly. But if both Spirit and Falcons manage to go through to the last games on Sunday, we could get our first s1mple vs donk matchup.
In the upper bracket, we are curious to see, how good are Heroic really? Could they be a potential playoff team at the upcoming Major in Copenhagen? They face NIP in the opening round, which should not be a problem for Heroic. Later on, they could be matched up with Cloud9, where we could get some real answers about this Heroic side, who has shown some good Counter-Strike against lesser opponents, but against sides such as Vitality, Spirit, and G2 they have shown their limits so far.
