Cloud9 deliver stellar comeback against NAVI to lock in Playoffs
Despite losing in overtime on the first map, Cloud9 regained composure and won the CIS derby against NAVI.
Cloud9 became the fifth team to qualify for the Playoff Stage at the PGL Copenhagen Major with a superb last two maps against NAVI.
Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov played a big part in why the match went all the distance. Had he not kept NAVI in the match on the first map of Mirage, Cloud9 would have run away with the victory on Ancient, where the former NAVI players Denis "electroNic" Sharipov and Kirill 'Boombl4' Mikhailov made life hard for their former organization.
It was nothing compared to what happened on Overpass, where Cloud9 completely shredded NAVI’s hope of qualifying for the playoffs today with a 13-2 win!
NAVI will need to win tomorrow to make it through to the playoffs, where they will face paiN Gaming.
