sh1ro announced on Spirit
The former Cloud9 AWP’er joins donk on the CIS roster.
Team Spirit has catapulted themselves into the mix of contenders for the PGL Major Copenhagen title with their latest roster move bringing one of the world's best AWP players into the team.
Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov’s transfer from Cloud9 to Team Spirit has been rumored to cost the organization more than $1,000,000. The Russian sniper stepped down from Cloud9 earlier this year without giving any explanation but now finds himself on one of the most promising teams for the future with the 16-year-old Danil "donk" Kryshkovets as the bright shining star of the team.
On Spirit, sh1ro replaces Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov. The 22-year-old AWP’er has been in good form lately, and will probably not have difficulties finding a new team.
Team Spirit recently won the BetBoom Dacha 2023 tournament, and has been on an upwards trajectory since the three academy players, Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotja, Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov, and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets joined the team in July.
