YNk on Cloud9: I don't think there is chemistry in this lineup
Another early exit from the Russian roster has put the five players on Cloud9 under scrutiny.
Cloud9 is out of IEM Chengdu after having lost 2-0 to FaZe in the lower bracket of the tournament. A result that in itself is not alarming, but the way the Cloud9 team seemed to be tilted throughout the match could indicate some internal struggles.
After the loss and exit from the tournament, analyst Janko "YNk" Paunović gave his view on the current situation of the team.
- Something seems really broken in this Cloud9 lineup. I don’t think just removing one player and replacing him with an AWP’er fixes it. I think it might even have to be two players, the former coach of FaZe and MIBR said on the ESL broadcast before commenting on Denis "electroNic" Sharipov’s exit interview, where he was asked about the bad mood, that was visible during the loss.
- I don’t think there is chemistry in this lineup. Yes, electroNic is right, that nobody is happy when they are losing, but sometimes they don’t even seem happy when they are winning either.
