FaZe advance as they eliminate Cloud9 from BLAST.tv Major
A heartbreaking moment for Cloud9 who wont participate in the upcomming BLAST.tv Paris Major.
FaZe Clan and Cloud9 faced off in a crucial match to secure the final spot at the Paris Major. After both teams went 2-2 in the swiss round, it was a must-win situation for both teams. In the end, FaZe came out on top and secured their spot in the final event.
The match was closely contested, with both teams showing their skills and fighting hard for the win. However, it was FaZe that proved to be too strong for Cloud9, winning both Mirage and Inferno. Broky and ropz were the standout performers for FaZe, with their exceptional gameplay contributing to their team's victory.
Despite Cloud9's best efforts, they were unable to overcome FaZe's dominant performance. Sh1ro played well, but it was not enough as his teammates, Buster and Nafany, had a poor performance. Nafany delivered a 0.84 rating, while Buster's rating was even lower at 0.66.
The win was a significant achievement for FaZe, who had already been crowned as the 2023 Intel Grand Slam winners. Their performance in this match showed that they are a team to be reckoned with, and they will be a force to be reckoned with at the Paris Major.
Cloud9, on the other hand, will be disappointed to have been eliminated from the event. Its the second time within two months that FaZe sends home Cloud9 empty-handed. The last time was back at ESL Pro League Season 17 when FaZe took down Cloud9 in the Grand Final. Back when, FaZe secured themselves the Intel Grand Slam trophy.
