rain: I’m extra motivated due to all the hate I got after Katowice
The experienced FaZe rifler and his impressive form are making a strong argument for his roster spot on FaZe.
Håvard “rain” Nygaard is currently playing some of his best Counter-Strike on the biggest stage of the game. Yesterday the strong Norwegian and the rest of FaZe managed to book a spot in the semifinals at PGL Major Antwerp – a tournament where rain has averaged an impressive 1.15 through the Legends Stage and playoffs.
After beating NIP 2-1 in front of thousands of fans in Sportpaleis arena, rain took his time talking with James Banks. In the post-match interview, the FaZe rifler touched on some “extra motivation” he’s felt after jks took up his spot at IEM Katowice.
- [There is some] extra motivation from all the hate I got, especially after Katowice. All of these people saying -rain +whatever, was the motivation for me to play better. And also, the young kids on my team always bring me up and motivate me with how much they play, rain said and continued to talk about the chemistry within the FaZe roster:
- We are feeling really good. The chemistry and atmosphere in the team - it feels like a big family when you’re playing. And that is what you need to have in a team, you need to have a good mood, everyone needs to be getting along together, and so far, it has worked really well for us.
