FaZe and Spirit qualify for playoffs at IEM Katowice
Another donk masterclass elevates Team Spirit as one of the favorites for the title in Katowice.
It's crunch time at IEM Katowice, where the best teams in the world are fighting for a chance to perform on the big stage in the Spodek Arena in Katowice. On Sunday night we found the first two participants after FaZe and Spirit qualified.
It was pure domination from Team Spirit against Complexity in the upper semi-finals of Group A. A 13-3, 13-5 win left little to no doubt about the insane firepower of the CIS roster with the young prodigy Danil "donk" Kryshkovets spearheading the team once again. The 17-year-old rifler went 38-22 in K-D score during the two maps. Team Spirit has now won 16 out of the last 18 matches where Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has been on the team. Next up will be the group final against FaZe, where the winner will secure a semi-final berth in the playoffs.
In the lower bracket Falcons and NAVI survived the first elimination matches. Tonight the two teams will be back in action again.
In Group B, MOUZ and GamerLegion got off to a good start with wins against Cloud9 and Monte.

Monte - GamerLegion 0-2
