NAVI coach: electronic has always been a great player on LAN, and he will be a crucial factor for us
B1ad3 believes that the Russian superstar and his great experience will be a huge advantage for NAVI on LAN.
The star-studded Russians from Natus Vincere will alongside the rest of the top of CS:GO attend the prestigious IEM Cologne, starting this week. The $1 Million event marks the return of LAN events, which has been long-awaited for the entire Counter-Strike world.
However, for some players or teams, it might play a much bigger role than for others.
We have spoken with NAVI’s head coach Andrii "B1ad3" Gorodenskyi, who believes the return of LAN will be a huge advantage for them, and especially their star rifler Denis "electronic" Sharipov.
- electronic has always been a great player on LAN, but in the online era, I think he lost some of his strengths at some point. Many players on LAN are scared of making a mistake or doing something unexpected. But I think our main strengths is the opposite. s1mple and electronic are always doing these things on LAN and they are making moves other players won’t do.
Some of electronic’s strongest skill set are his confidence, determination and his ability to take on responsibility, and it’s a huge advantage to have such a player while being returning to LAN, the coach states in a press conference.

NAVI heads into IEM Cologne with a stellar Grand Final victory at StarLadder CIS RMR over their rivals from Gambit. B1ad3 continues by explaining the strong impact electronic will give NAVI and how important he is for the team.
- I have said so many times before that electronic has a lot of experience and understanding of the game. He knows how to operate with the opponent on the map in every specific situation, also when it gets critical, which makes him crucial for us in the mid-rounds.
These abilities will be very useful getting back on LAN, B1ad3 concludes.
