Liquid sign Brazilian superstar FalleN

After the departure of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken Liquid saw themselves needing a fifth and final member of the roster. The final piece of the puzzle has just been confirmed on Liquid's Twitter-page to be the CS:GO veteran, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.

The 29-year-old has more experience under his belt than most of the top-tier players and being a two-time Major winner he is certain to bring a lot to the table at Liquid.

"FalleN" will presumably take on the In-game leader role where his experience and knowledge in regards to the game will be able to shine. In addition to the role as an in-game leader, he will presumably be the player in the roster to wield the "Big green" also know as the AWP. Whilst both Keith "NAF" Markovic and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip are more than capable of using the sniper rifle, it is hard to imagine anyone else but "FalleN" to be the one taking on the responsibilities of the AWP.

When talking about his own capabilities and role in the Counter-Strike scene as well as why he decided to join Liquid "FalleN" expressed:

"I chose Liquid because I played against them many years, I know their strengths and I know how well they can play. I think that, with my abilities and the way I think about the game, I can be helpful."

Preusamemably it isn't only "FalleN" that is excited to start his journey at Liquid. The team has had a difficult time in 2020, never really reaching the potential that they have previously shown to be capable of reaching. Whilst, they have said goodbye to a phenomenal rifler in "Twistzz" they now say hello to one Counter-Strike all-time greats. With his experience and talent, he is sure to bring something to the table that Liquid has been missing.

At liquid "FalleN" will reunite with "Stewie2K" as they both played under SK and MIBR for eight months. He will make his first appearance for Liquid this month as BLAST Premier Global Finals is set to kick-off on January 19th. The tournament will spand from January 19-24.
