Liquid secures Legends spot from the Americas RMR
Overtime on both maps was needed to seal the victory for Liquid against Evil Geniuses.
As expected it is Team Liquid that is going to represent the Americas at the Legends Stage in Rio.
Liquid secured their berth into the Legends Stage by winning the 1st place decider match in the Americas RMR against Evil Geniuses. And as seen before in this RMR, Evil Geniuses was not an easy team to face.
On Ancient it took three overtime series for Liquid to win their own map pick. Equally tough was it on Overpass, where the two teams once again had to decide the match in overtime. Liquid had to deal with a superb playing Timothy 'autimatic' Ta, who dropped 40 kills during Overpass, but in the end, it was not enough for Evil Geniuses who lost by the smallest of margins.
