Liquid fight through Endpoint at ESL Pro League
Stewie2K and NAF shined in convincing victory for the North Americans at Group D.
The excitement and the close rounds from the previous game between Astralis and Virtus.pro failed to appear in the late match at ESL Pro League, where Liquid eased their way through Endpoint in a 2-0 victory.
The underdogs from Endpoint did not manage to pressure Liquid over an extended period in the match, which the North Americans took advantage of on the two maps. On the first map of Inferno, Liquid’s Keith “NAF” Markovic lit up the server by presenting a staggering 1.41 Rating, including an outstanding ACE on the B-site.
After the 16-12 win on Endpoint’s map pick, Liquid gave the European-mixed roster a tough lesson on their new home-ground on Vertigo. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and his immense in-game calling helped Liquid to establish powerful executes and strong retakes, which in the end resulted in a confident 16-9 win.
