Liquid extend winning record with win over Chaos
It was a one-sided affair in tonight’s match, as Liquid made short work of Chaos securing a 2-0 win.
Liquid extended their winning record in series play to 5-1 after dominating Chaos in a two-map series with a 16-8 victory on Nuke and 16-2 on Dust2 to secure a spot in the semi-finals. Jake “Stewie2K” Yip’s side was in control from the onset on Chaos’ map pick Nuke, but also got off to a strong start on Dust2 which resulted in a flawless 11-round streak later on before bringing the series to an end.
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski put up a strong showing against Chaos with a 1.62 rating and 113,2 ADR to lead his team for a victory and a spot in the semi-finals.
Chaos remains in the running for playoffs as they will face off against the winner between New England Whalers and Rugrats who play in the Group A elimination match.
