k0nfig part ways with Complexity
The 24-year-old Dane is no longer a part of Complexity and could very soon be joining Astralis.
Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke’s time at Complexity has come to an end as the 24-year-old Dane has decided to chose a different direction heading into 2022, which means that he’s ending his 21-month long tenure with the Dallas-based organization.
Last month multiple sources told Jaxon that k0nfig won’t be renewing his contract with Complexity and would quite likely be back in action with a different star on his jersey once he’s ready to compete again.
Astralis’ coach, Danny “zonic” Sørensen revealed in his book The Brain Behind Astralis that they had previously targeted k0nfig to fill the gap that was left by Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye at the time, but due to k0nfig’s attitude at the time and because he was late for his interview, they didn’t make a deal and instead acquired Emil “Magisk” Reif.
