K0nfig out for minimum 4-6 weeks due to wrist injury
The Complexity sharpshooter will not be playing alongside his teammates for the next weeks to come
Complexity are looking to get a strong start at the ESL Pro League Season 14 with their new-look roster after signing Patrick "es3tag" Hansen as the team's newest addition. This, however, might be a difficult task for the Juggernauts, seeing that one of their star players in Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke currently is out with a wrist injury.
At first, it was unclear as to how serious the incident causing the damage had been, but thanks to an update from "k0nfig" himself we now know that the recovery is expected to be approximately 4-6 weeks. Alongside the expected recovery time, the Dane also explained how the injury had happened. Walking in an airport looking at his phone, the Complexity star slipped in some water on the floor and smacked his wrist against a handrail.
Whether or not he will be able to regain his spot in the starting roster immediately after the injury has recovered or not is still unclear. Until "k0nfig" is back his fellow countryman in Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen will occupy the missing spot within the roster. “NaToSaphiX” and the four Juggernauts are set to have their first Bo3-series at ESL Pro League Season 14 on August 28 against forZe.
Stay tuned for more updates regarding the recovery of "k0nfig" and the remaining Complexity roster's upcoming performances.
