Is misutaaa becoming the secondary star Vitality needed?
The 18-year-old is slowly becoming a star player
When talking about Vitality there is probably one name that springs to mind instantly, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. "s1mple" or "ZywOo" has been the question since the French prodigy took the CS:GO scene by storm, continuing to put up incredible numbers for his team. However, perhaps we need to look more at the players surrounding him as well.
Vitality has not looked the same as in their "golden days" since benching "RPK" and has looked very one-dimensional with "ZywOo" remaining the single stable player within the roster. It was clear that something needed to change and perhaps something has changed. When bringing in the young Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier no one seemed to think that he would operate as more than a support player in the Vitality roster, but it is safe to say that he is becoming way more than just that.
Whilst Vitality has been eliminated from the IEM Cologne 2021 event, they have shown something we haven't seen from them in quite some time - a spark and a new belief in themselves perhaps. More than just that we have seen a "misutaaa" stepping up to the plate, despite it being is first LAN event with Vitality ever.
At the IEM Cologne 2021 play-ins, the 18-year-old rifler was instrumental for the French Vitality roster. Managing to compete with his teammate "ZywOo" and put an impressive rating of 1.20 throughout the event shows just how this young player is evolving. Whilst Vitality still has a long way to go before reaching the level they were previously at once again, it is clear that "misutaaa" is only becoming better.
Take a look as the 18-year-old French "misutaaa" remains cool, calm, and collected and wins an entire round for his team in a 1v3 clutch against FaZe at the IEM Cologne 2021 event:
