acoR: We have established ourselves as a Top 20 team

It will surely be interesting to follow GamerLegion and their progress in the coming time.

The Cinderella story at IEM Rio starring GamerLegion came to an end last night, with the European underdogs failing to secure a Legends Stage spot after falling short against Cloud9.

Despite the loss, the young Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek-led squad can look back at a very impressive two-month period where they have managed to take down the likes of Vitality, G2 and also barely the PGL Antwerp Major winners from FaZe.

GamerLegion’s Danish AWPer Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand is also very pleased with their development and their current performance, he explained in a recent interview with ESL.

- We definitely got a lot of experience playing here, and we have beaten good teams. I think we got smashed against Bad News Eagles. I believe we have played really well and also gave a good fight against Cloud9, and I think we have established ourselves around Top 20 in my opinion, where we still have a bit more time to keep pushing.

- Coming up we have a LAN tournament in Finland [Elisa Masters Espoo], where we will do our best – let’s see what happens, acoR stated in the interview (watch the entire thing down below).
