The crowd favorites are ready for Legends Stage!
FURIA took down GamerLegion in a dominant fashion.
The Brazilian hometeam FURIA is now ready to play in the legends stage after they took down GamerLegion in a playoff Bo3 game.
The first game started out on Vertigo, the map pick of FURIA. GamerLegion had a 100% win rate on the map before they meet the FURIA T side. Coming up 4-11 FURIA had all the cards on their hand to take the first map in the Bo3. Despite a little comeback from GamerLegion, the home crowd helped their team to the victory on Vertigo 9-16.
The second map was GamerLegion´s map pick Inferno. FURIA came out firing as they came up 8-1 before GamerLegion started to fire back. GamerLegion got the pistol in the first half but the force buy from FURIA came out strongest. The second half looked a lot like Vertigo as GamerLegion came back 10-11. Despite the little comeback, FURIA stepped up and took 5 rounds in a row to take the map 11-16.
Who FURIA will face in the legends stage is yet to be decided, and the same goes for GamerLegion who currently is 2-2 in the Challenger Stage, The last mentioned will be fighting in a do-or-die game.
