Bad News Eagles secure legends stage over GamerLegion
BNE stood tall in the fourth-place decider against the youngsters from GamerLegion.
In a highly intense fourth-place decider, Bad News Eagles emerged victorious against GamerLegion to secure a spot in the Legends Stage at the BLAST.tv Paris Major. This win guarantees them a spot in the upcoming tournament and sets them up for a chance to compete against some of the best teams in the world on the biggest stage.
With only four Legends Stage berths available, the pressure was on for the teams to perform at their best. In this particular match, only two out of the three teams with a 3-1 record would be able to advance to the top four and skip the Challengers Stage entirely.
The Bad News Eagles came out strong, winning the first map on Mirage with a convincing score of 16-7. However, GamerLegion fought back on the second map, Ancient, and narrowly won with a score of 14-16. The third and final map, Vertigo, was dominated by the Bad News Eagles, who won 16-7, securing their victory and a place in the Legends Stage.
The Europe RMR A has four teams that have advanced to the Legends Stage: Natus Vincere, Into the Breach who will be playing in their first-ever major, fnatic, and Bad News Eagles. These teams have all earned their spot in the Legends Stage.
