Heroic defeat FaZe to seal Group C win
The Danes managed to take down the Worlds Number one in the Group Final.
The Danes have brought their A-game to BLAST Premier Fall Groups. With the Royal Arena in Copenhagen as a nice bonus, both Astralis and Heroic have now secured themselves a perfect position to qualify for the arena later this year.
Heroic did it the hard way by taking down FaZe in the Group C final. Before that Heroic and FaZe had moved past Evil Geniuses and BIG.
The Group C final was a rematch from the Upper Final, where FaZe had no problems taking down Heroic. A map change did the trick for the Danes in the final. On Inferno, it ended 16-10 in favor of Heroic.
The victory gives Heroic two chances of qualifying for the Fall Finals, while FaZe, EG, and BIG will have to take a longer way in order to qualify. The playoffs of BLAST Fall Groups will start on Thursday.
