Grayhound lost 16-6 after 6-0 lead against BIG
Despite getting off to an excellent start, the Australians could not get the job done.
With yesterday's huge upset win against Cloud9, Grayhound was one of the teams to watch on Day 2 of IEM Rio. The Australians started with a bang on Dust2 against BIG, where they quickly established a 6-0 lead on their T side.
But then Karim "Krimbo" Moussa and Florian "syrsoN" Rische turned up. And suddenly the scoreboard was turned upside down from 0-6 to 9-6 at the break. The struggle continued in the second half for Grayhound, who could not deny BIG's offense. It ended in a very one-sided affair with BIG winning 16 rounds in a row to put them 2-1 in the Challengers Stage of IEM Rio.
Grayhounds fall down to the 1-2 pool, where the Australians will play an elimination match tomorrow to stay alive.
