“Game is complete, now I can uninstall”: dupreeh goes 19 for 19
Death, taxes and dupreeh qualifying for the Major.
Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen will be the only player to have featured in EVERY Major championship in CS:GO history.
That was solidified yesterday when the Danish veteran and the rest of Vitality booked a ticket to the Paris Major next month after beating BIG 2-1 at the European RMRs. A record and an achievement which clearly means a lot for dupreeh himself.
- Of course, it feels special, I’m not going to deny that. It also felt special last time when I was the only one to go 18 out of 19, so now making it to all 19 is pretty unique – something no one can ever recreate in that sense.
- Game is complete, now I can uninstall, dupreeh said on the broadcast with a smile.
Praise to the lower-tier teams
In the broadcast interview, dupreeh also discussed why we’re seeing so at the RMR events. Here the Dane touches on the underdog teams and why they may have an edge compared to more profiled teams.
- I’m very surprised to see that many upsets, but that’s been the case for the last couple of RMRs. All the teams coming outside of the partner leagues are doing an incredible job. Going into RMRs and Majors is all about showing that you want to compete and make it to the Major, and that is probably an edge they have above a lot of the other teams.
- Sure, we all want to go but for a team who’ve never qualified for a Major or players who’ve never played on the biggest stages, it’s a dream come true. So, a big kudos to all the young guys, dupreeh noted.
