G2 captain: JaCkz is very underrated and he has developed into being a key figure for us
In an interview with Pley, nexa touches on the return of the Frenchman and the importance of his presence on the server.
In late October last year, G2 stunned the Counter-Strike world with the announcement of the blockbuster signing of Nikola “NiKo” Kovac, which quickly got dubbed as the “biggest CS:GO deal in history”. The acquisition of one of the most gifted players in the game was surely a great boost for the iconic team.
The transfer meant, like so many other roster moves, that one player had to go out the other way and be sacrificed. In this particular case, it was Audric “JaCkz” Jug who got dismissed and sent to the bench.
However, after three long months on the sideline, the experienced Frenchman was brought back on duty in March, replacing Kenny “kennyS” Schrub. The 28-year-old has since his return improved his game and developed into a “key figure on the team”, in a period where G2 are at the very top of CS:GO.
Hear what nexa had to say about JaCkz and why he's a super underrated player on the server.
JaCkz and the rest of G2 will try to continue their great form lately when they this Friday at 18:30 (CET) take on Complexity at BLAST Premier Spring Final. The thrilling battle against the Juggernauts is a crucial matchup, due to the loser getting eliminated from the prominent event.
