G2 removes JaCkz from their active roster
It looks like, AmanNEk has won the battle for the sixth spot at G2.
G2 have announced that they have removed Audric “JaCkz” Jug from their active roster with immediate effect. The 28-year old Frenchmen is still under contract with G2, but the organization has said that he’s free to seek new opportunities.
G2 said openly when they acquired Nikola “NiKo” Kovac that their intention and goal wasn’t to possess a potential 6-man roster like we have seen with Vitality and Astralis. They informed that they will trial different roster combination, between JaCkz and and François "AmaNEk" Delaunay where the two Frenchmen have taken turns playing different events. Where G2 says “we quickly realised that our system benefited more from François’ qualities”
Team manager at G2 Jérôme "NiaK" Sudries is saddened over the decision but praises JaCkz and his commitment and impact in his two years at G2.
“So it is with a heavy heart that we decided to remove JACKZ from the active roster, and allow him to explore his options for 2021. Audric is a truly passionate and committed player who has proven to have the qualities to perform at the highest level. I would like to thank him for his genuine and unfailing dedication over the past two years, and I have no doubt that he will contribute to the success of his future team.”
