Fiend defeat FaZe to lock in playoffs spot
The Bulgarian squad moves on to the playoffs at IEM Fall!
Fiend continued their impressive run at IEM Fall by securing a spot in the playoffs and second place in the group with yet another stellar win, this time comfortably defeating FaZe Clan on Mirage. FaZe still have a chance to qualify, but will need an overall 9th or 10th place that should most likely get them a spot depending on how a few other results will turn out.
The Bulgarian squad quickly bounced back on the defense with a forcebuy win after losing the pistol and continued to secure the next two rounds to go up 3-1 on the scoreboard. From there on, Fiend were in full control on Mirage and ended the first half with a 11-4 advantage. REDSTAR and company went on to dominate FaZe on the offense and closed out the map comfortably with a 16-6 scoreline, only allowing karrigan’s troops to grab two rounds in the second half.
