FaZe defeat MOUZ 2-1 and qualifies for the group stage
The Americans secured a spot in the main event.
The first map started with MOUZ’s map pick of Nuke, and the German squad started well. Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás with a stellar performance to get the heavy lifting done, with the half ending 9-6 in the favor of MOUZ. They kept their momentum into their CT half as they only allowed FaZe a single round and quickly converted to a 16-7 victory.
The match continued on Inferno, where it was Twistzz and company who came alive. The Americans won the pistol and controlled the first half. Moving onto CT, FaZe picked up the first five rounds to get to 14-6 and eventually ended the map 16-10.
In the decider of Mirage, the first half went back-and-forth with both teams in the lead, ending 8-7 in the favor of MOUZ. Moving onto the T side, MOUZ won the pistol and converted before FaZe won seven in a row without conceding a single bomb plant. MOUZ did a tactical pause earned them three rounds to bring the score 14-14, but FaZe returned to close out the map 16-14 and the match 2-1.
