FalleN confirmed as new IGL for Team Liquid
As predicted by CS:GO analyst, Maniac, the Brazilian has been named as the new in-game leader for the NA team.
The change of the in-game leader role from Jake "Stewie2k" Yip to Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo was revealed by teammate Keith "NAF" Markovic in an interview with ESL.
- After our recent performances, we have tried to implement FalleN as our main IGL now, so the AWP and IGL role has been taken up by him. He brings new ideas for us to play and think about, the Canadian explained.
Team Liquid lost twice to FaZe at BLAST Premier Spring which sent the North Americans down to the BLAST Showdown tournament later this year.
The idea of FalleN calling the shots as an in-game leader is not surprising. Especially not if you have listened to our CS:GO expert, Maniac, who predicted this at the start of the month.
Last night with FalleN as IGL, Team Liquid secured their spot at IEM Katowice with straight wins against MIBR and OG at the Play-in tournament.
