Complexity sends FaZe home!
The "juggernaut" survived elimination from the lower bracket in DreamHack Masters Winter in their final group stage match.
On Inferno, Complexity showed no mercy and took over the map from the very get going, where Coldzera and the rest of FaZe didn’t manage to put up a resistant performance, even though it was on their map pick. Complexity secured an impeccable 14-1 halftime lead, through a monster of a CT-side, leaving no gaps for FaZe. poizon who had an immense 1.71 rating, closed out the map for Complexity in a strong 16-4 victory.
It looked like a clear 2-0 win for Complexity going into Nuke, due to their performance in the first map, combined with their strong showings on Nuke lately. However, FaZe wanted it different. With Kjaerbye at the helm, FaZe showed great character by equalizing the series at 1-1 through a thrilling 22-19 victory.
On the last map of the series, Complexity were off to a slow start in the beginning rounds but managed to get 7 rounds in a row right before half time, changing the score 9-6. After halftime, k0nfig and company broke the FaZe defense on CT-side and coldzera’s troops only managed to get 1 round before Complexity won 16-7 and wrapped up the series. The 23-year-old Dane finished on top of the scoreboards with a rating of 1.60.
