Complexity annihilate Vitality 2-0!

On the first day of Group B in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021, we had Vitality facing Complexity in a spot for the upper final at Group B. Vitality was by far the favorites to win the BO3-series, as they currently rank as the second-best team in the world, with the worlds best player in "ZywOo" on their roster. However, this wasn't how it would go down at all. The underdogs managed to beat the French giants 2-0 and move through to the upper final.

The first map took place on Complexity's map pick, Mirage. Complexity is finally back to their entended five-man roster, with "poizon" rejoining his teammates after a medical leave. In the early stages of Mirage, however, it seemed as if nothing had changed and Complexity would continue with their losing ways as they ended the first half with a scoreline of 10-5 favoring the French Vitality side. Complexity, however, came back stronger in the second half and managed to make a comeback with the help of a Danish "k0nfig" on fire. They closed out the first map on Mirage 16-11.

The second map was to be played on Overpass, Vitality's map pick. Despite being Vitality's choice of the map it was Complexity to completely steal the show. With the momentum carrying over from the first map, they managed to dominate their opponents and finish the series with an impressive 16-2 scoreline on Overpass.

With the 2-0 victory over Vitality, Complexity has earned themselves a spot in the upper final of Group B, where they will face either EG or G2 for their next BO3-series.
