Cloud9 grab their first victory at ESL Pro League
The North Americans are back to winning ways after defeating TeamOne 2-1.
It was a battle between the two lowest-ranked teams when Cloud9 and TeamOne clashed in Group B at ESL Pro League this evening. Both TeamOne and Cloud9 were 0-2 going into the match, meaning that a potential defeat for both teams most likely means elimination for the losing part.
The match went back and forth from the very start, which continued throughout the first two maps on Train and Overpass. However, the close and competitive style of play stopped on the decider, as Alex “ALEX” McMeekin and his troops cruised through the Brazilians, to secure the series with a devastating 16-5.
