About TeamOne

Team One is a Brazilian esports organization founded in 2014. Team One followed the vast popularity for Brazilian Counter-Strike and formed its first CS:GO team in 2014. Team One has mostly competed in tier-2 teams and in minor tournaments. With already a great number of former and current established Brazilian teams, it has been difficult for Team One to institute themselves as a leading CS:GO team in the region. Team One had a great run in the big event World Electronic Sports Games or WESG in 2018 where they managed to end 4th behind Fnatic, Space Soldiers and Team Russia. WESG 2018 was a big event with a huge $1.500.000 prize pool and a strong lineup of top tier teams as SK Gaming, Fnatic, Cloud 9, Team Envy, GODSENT and BIG. In the quarter-final, they knocked out Cloud 9, which at that moment was one of the best teams and the winner of ELEAGUE Major in Boston just a few months before this. A big win for the smaller Brazilian team, who unfortunately lost the following semi-final against another strong top tier team in Fnatic. Team One and their ranking on HLTV’s world ranking peaked in March 2018, where they started as #165 in January but after the good showing in WESG now were #20 overall.
