Cloud9 advance to the playoffs by steamrolling Spirit

Cloud9 shows in this strong victory against Spirit that they are a force to be reckoned with. HenryG’s troops ease past Spirit in a 2-0 victory on Nuke (16-14) and Dust2 (16-4).
It was clear to see that Cloud9 punished Spirit with their map pick of Nuke, with the Colossus controlling the map from square one. A powerful British-Danish duo of ALEX and es3tag led Cloud9 to a compelling 10-5 halftime lead after a potent T-side. Spirit showed up in the second half by winning five rounds in a row and settle the score at 13-14. However, Cloud9 managed to cancel the comeback and ALEX and his troops could take a vital 16-14 victory on the first map.
Cloud9 demonstrated their complete dominance on Dust2, by leaving no doubt who the victor of this match is going to be. It was the star AWP’er Özgür “woxic” Eker who shined and brought the victory home to HenryG and the rest of Cloud9. Cloud9 secured the map 16-4 after an immense 14-1 first half.
