Can the Brazilian Godfather of CS:GO elevate Team Liquid?
Can the addition of FalleN be the last piece in the puzzle for the North Americans?
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has been the synonym with Brazilian CS:GO for ages. Now the 29-year-old Brazilian is set to revive Team Liquid, who desperately has been on the hunt for a new in-game leader.
Since 2005 "FalleN" has been around Counter-Strike, and there is no doubt that the Brazilian will bring experience and leadership to the Liquid-roster. But how will he individually perform in 2021? Looking at his stats through the last years, there is some doubt, whether the AWP'er can perform like previous in his career.
FalleN's match ratings through the years:
2016: 1.14
2017: 1.14
2018: 1.11
2019: 1.10
2020: 1.09
Being an in-game leader is not about the individual performance though, and therefore the transfer of FalleN could still turn out to be a smart move by Team Liquid. Atleast it is a transfer that has given the CS:GO community a lot to talk about!
