apEX on Vitality’s “Last Dance”: I will remember it for the rest of my life
We got the chance to sit down with the French captain to talk about the roster's last time together as a group.
For a long while, it has been more and less confirmed that the current roster of Team Vitality wasn’t supposed to continue together going into 2022. That was affirmed yesterday when Richard "shox" Papillon announced his departure from the French super team.
Right before the start of BLAST World Final, we spoke with Vitality's Dan "apEX" Madesclaire about their “Last dance” and how these past weeks have been, winning IEM Winter and playing together for the last time as a roster.
- It was very emotional winning IEM Winter. I just want to cry a little bit, because I love my guy (shox) and the story we have made together for the last two years, since ALEX (Alex “ALEX” McMeekin) left us. We have worked a lot to come back because at that moment, no one believed in us to be as good as we are right now. The entire we made history - All the sh*t we did together as a team, is something I will remember for the rest of my life.”
-I don’t think we’ve seen any teams do these things that we have been doing (during their “Last dance”). We have still done good, even though next year will be different. So, I’m really proud of us, apEX said.
