Official: shox leaves Vitality
BLAST Premier World Final ended up being the French veteran's last event for Vitality.
Richard "shox" Papillon’s days at Team Vitality has officially come to an end after both parties have confirmed the departure on Twitter Wednesday evening. The farewell of the legendary Frenchmen marks the end of a two-year spell with the team, where shox has been an influential part of the squad and their victories in tournaments like EPICENTER 2019, BLAST Premier Fall 2020, and most recently IEM Winter.
- You have been part of the creation of our legend, we have shared so many good moments since 2019, a chapter is closing but your name will remain engraved in the Vitality history. Thank you shox and good luck in your next adventure, Vitality wrote on Twitter.
Last week shox and the rest of Vitality competed at BLAST Premier World Final, their last-ever tournament together as a team. After the Frenchmen's exit in the $1 Million tournament, we managed to get an interview with the 29-year-old rifler about his time at the team and this famous "Last Dance". You can find the interview down below.
