Who will be slaughtered?
After the NiKo deal, G2 has to decide on a new direction regarding their active roster.
G2 declared on Wednesday that they have completed the biggest CS:GO transfer in history when they announced the signing of Bosnian superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovač from FaZe Clan.
The deal means that G2 has to make some roster changes to fit in their new star riffler. It was anticipated that AmaNEk was the player who was going to be sacrificed due to his decreasing level of play the past year. But the Danish expert and analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche offers his insight on the matter on his Twitter.
He explains that according to a post from NiKo’s social media, that it will be JaCkz who is getting cut from the starting roster and not AmaNEk. A look at the players recent stats and numbers can explain why. It’s clear to see that JaCkz and AmaNEk are the two poorest performers on the French side.
Their stats over the last 3 months:
AmaNEk: -130 k/d-ratio, 73.2 ADR, 0.60 KPR, 0.97 rating.
JaCkz: - 165 k/d-ratio, 65.8 ADR, 0.60 KPR, 0.93 rating.
G2 has not made an official decision yet, and could for that reason also decide to look towards an increasing tendency in the CS:GO world and create a 6-man roster.
“With this signing, we’re taking a new direction with our team. Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll be evaluating the team and its progress to determine the optimal line-up for each match. We will provide more information on this in the coming days.”
