Vitality captain takes a break from the competitive scene
Team Vitality have announced in an official statement that Dan “apEX” Madesclaire will be out of action during the entire BLAST Premier Spring.
Vitality’s coach Rémy “XTQZZ” Quoniam and the organization announced on Tuesday that the team’s captain will not be a part of their roster in BLAST Premier Spring Groups due to personal issues.
The statement explains that team issues to reach full potential and the global health situation combined with apEX’s personal issues has led to the decision.
“Unfortunately for our captain apEX, personal problems have added to all this. In order to ensure our duty as a club and as a coach to protect our athletes, I have made the decision to give apEX some breathing space during the entire BLAST Premier Spring. This period will be extended if necessary, to respect his well-being and to ensure that he comes back refreshed and in full control of his craft”
