Vitality welcomes back their captain with a victory
The Frenchmen move on to the upper bracket of Group B following a clean 2-0 victory over OG in apEX’s comeback game.
Team Vitality are through to Group B’s upper semi-finals in IEM Katowice after taking down OG in overtime on the second map to wrap up the series 2-0. Vitality are set to face off against Liquid in the upper semi-finals, while OG will take upon karrigan’s troops from FaZe in the lower bracket.

It was a close affair in tonight’s matchup that saw the Frenchmen taking home the first map of the series on Dust2. The French captain delivered a good performance in his comeback and helped his troops to close out the map 16-11.
On Nuke, the game went the distance even though the Frenchmen were leading comfortably on their CT-side. OG managed to string together 5 rounds in a row, to make it to match point before ZywOo saved his team and pushed the game into overtime. The overtime didn’t scare the Frenchmen as they put up a strong showing to wrap up the series 2-0 and closing the map 19-17.

Vitality’s shox played a massive role in the victory. The Frenchman delivered 61 frags throughout the series to push his team through the upper bracket and send OG down to the lower.
