Vitality ready for Grand Final in Paris
The hometown heroes handled the pressure from Accor Arena perfectly.
Team Vitality will be the opponent of GamerLegion in the last CS:GO Major in history. The French/Danish/Israelian roster took down Apeks on two maps, 16-14, 16-10.
As the score indicated it was not an easy task for Vitality, who big issues closing down the rounds losing several clutch situations against Apeks. On Mirage it was the combination of Spinx, dupreeh, and ZywOo that carried Vitality to victory.
On Vertigo it was the other two Vitality players, that made the difference. Both apEX and Magisk won key rounds for the home team, which enjoyed a packed Accor Arena, where the vast majority were cheering them on.
For Apeks, it was Tim 'nawwk' Jonasson that provided the biggest impact. The Swedish AWP’er played lights out, but could not prevent Vitality from winning their own map pick and winning the match. It was an entertaining match, where Apeks with a little luck on their side could at least have forced the match onto Inferno as the decider map.
Vitality and GamerLegion face each other in the last CS:GO Major Grand Final tomorrow at 17.00 (CET).
