Vitality dethrone FaZe on the world ranking!
apEX’s troops have conquered the #1 spot on the HLTV World Ranking.
Team Vitality has returned to the top spot on the World ranking for the first time since December 2020!
This time is a little different, as this is Vitality’s first time hitting the #1 spot on the World ranking with their international roster. After winning the ESL Pro League Season 16 event and karrigan’s FaZe losing points due to the removal of IEM Cologne from the recent events subranking, the combination of those two things takes apEX’s troops to the top slot ahead of BLAST Showdown.
Outsiders made their way back into the Top 10 of the World ranking after gaining five positions as a result of their triumph at ESL Challenger Rotterdam and a good showing at the RMR. Meanwhile, Astralis and Movistar Riders are no longer to find in the Top 10, as the two teams have continued their downward trend, pushing them five and eight positions down, respectively. NAVI also dropped out of the top three, with their last dip being back in May 2021 when Egor “flamie” Vasilyev left the squad.
