Yesterday, FunPlus Phoenix were up against the dominant Germans from BIG at the qualifier for IEM Summer 2021. The two teams competed for a spot at the $250.000 main event, which is set to kick off in June this year. The newly crowned Funspark ULTI EU Final winners from BIG were heavy favourites going into the match, however, it was the FPX gang who ended up with the win.

The former GODSENT roster solidified the impressive victory by handing BIG a devastating 16-4 defeat on Vertigo. The highlight play of the map must have been this outstanding eco-round win, where especially Jesse "zehN" Linjala and Asger "Farlig" Jensen stepped up huge.
