A season with ups and downs for the North American team ended with great success and second place at BLAST World Finals 2022.
Richard "shox" Papillon played for liquid during the first six months of the year, but after poor results and bad performances Team Liquid and Shox parted ways. Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis came in on trail, and since then Team Liquid hasn't been looking back. The North American team went from being number #59 on the HLTV world ranking list to ending the year as number #3.
Despite Liquid being back as a top team in the world, the team hasn't won a trophy in over 1275 days.
With their roster now being set and the team performing well Team Liquid will be going into 2023 with high hopes and confidence.
